Planning your terrace with our configurator – here's how!
You can use our configurator (no registration required!) by following these steps.
- Your terrace very easily plan it yourself
- a message parts list view the required parts and
- credentials for Costs compare the laying options
1. Enter the floor plan of your terrace.

When entering your data, you have the choice between
- predefined floor plan types (L-shape, rectangular)
- a freely defined form that you define yourself or
- an import function where you can upload existing floor plans
Next, you determine the type of paving.
2. Determine your tile covering

Define the dimensions of the planks and determine the laying pattern.
3. Determine the installation method (e.g., pedestal supports)

At this point, you tell the configurator what type of substructure you want.
You have a choice between
– Installation of pedestal supports
– Rail system
– plate bearings and the
– Raised floor system
4. Determine the building heights

In the final step, you define the construction heights at the corner points (in this example: 12cm).
The construction height is the distance between the top edge of the floor and the top edge of the wooden plank.
5. Choose the location and type of your preferred edge finish.

Now choose
a) the location where you want to attach the edge trim and
b) the type of desired edge finish. Note: not all options appear for every height!
The selected terrace sides are shown by yellow lines on the plan!
5. Save the result as a PDF or add the result to your shopping cart.

Of course, you will also receive an overview of the material requirements.
The costs (excluding transport) will also be displayed at the same time.
Finally, you can also save the plan as a PDF.

Do I absolutely have to use construction protection pads under every pedestal support?
Yes, we recommend this. Construction protection pads fulfill two critical functions: They protect your sensitive waterproofing layer (e.g., bitumen sheets) from mechanical damage caused by pressure and friction. At the same time, they act as acoustic decoupling, significantly reducing impact noise. Depending on the substrate, we offer standard pads or a special aluminum-laminated version.
Please note the following distinction:1. Installation on a concrete substrate (shown in blue in the image)

The following purposes are served by the bee protection pads:
- In leveling of unevenness and the
- secure footing of the pedestal bearing
We recommend using our [product/service] here Standard construction protection pads.
2. Installation on waterproofing membranes

Here, building protection pads also serve to protect the sealing layer.
The use of our two types of building protection pads now differs according to the type of sealing (please check the type of sealing before use).Material Common trade names, e.g. Standard building protection pad Aluminum-laminated building protection pad FPO / TPO Bauder Thermoplan™®

How can I best compensate for unevenness or a slope in the subsoil?
You have two options for compensation:
For minor unevenness or point corrections, please use our Leveling discs (1 mm or 3 mm), which are placed directly under the pedestal support.

Our self-leveling series are suitable for gradients of up to 5%. EasyPro and Professional the most efficient solution, as the head of the bearing automatically compensates for inclinations.
However, leveling discs are highly recommended here as well. This is because overlaps can occur, especially at the joints of waterproofing membranes, which cannot be compensated for by self-leveling pedestals.

How do I know what accessories and in what quantity I need for my project?
To avoid making the wrong purchase, it's best to use our free 3D terrace configuratorAfter entering your floor plan and desired installation method, the system automatically calculates the exact parts list – including all necessary accessories such as edge trims, adapters, or pads (if you require these options). Registration is not required.

What can I do if patio slabs rattle or creak on the pedestals?
At a Rattling The slab usually does not sit fully on the pedestal support. This can involve one or more support points.
It is necessary that you remove the plate and carefully check which support point is faulty.
Compensate for the difference in height using a section of our Leveling discs or ours Anti-slip and acoustic pads .
Anti-slip pad
leveling disc 1mm
leveling disc 3mm The Crunch This can have two causes:
- Either the pedestal base is not resting fully on the concrete floor. In this case, please use our Building protection pads under the pedestal support. However, pay attention to the overall height of the system!
- There are small stones, grains, etc. between the slab and the pedestal.
Remove the plate here, clean the contact surface and, if necessary, place a section of our anti-slip and anti-acoustic pad between the pedestal and the slab. However, please note that this additional support will change the overall height!
