This edge trim system is the most elegant solution for terraces with a slope, as it uses the existing terrace slab as a trim and adapts flexibly to any gradient. The narrow aluminum retaining strip at the top edge is a perfect color match for a wide variety of terrace coverings.
The edge profiles
The edge profile provides a stable metal frame for your patio edge and effortlessly bridges different ground levels along a patio side. It is an excellent solution for slopes, allowing the cut edge panels to be inserted securely and precisely into the profile.

This universal edge trim impresses with a wide selection of colors and heights up to 18 cm, elegantly concealing any substructure. Thanks to the precisely fitting corner pieces and connectors, you achieve a flush finish perfectly suited to 2 cm thick floor coverings.

Our stainless steel edge clip solution is the most cost-effective method for a stable edge finish with a minimum installation height of 6 cm. As the only system in our range, it also allows for side cladding with 3 cm thick panels thanks to a simple and secure mechanical clamping system.

1. Enter the floor plan of your terrace.
When entering your data, you have the choice between
- predefined floor plan types (L-shape, rectangular)
- a freely defined form that you define yourself or
- an import function where you can upload existing floor plans
Next, you determine the type of paving.
2. Determine your tile covering
Define the dimensions of the planks and determine the laying pattern.
3. Determine the installation method (e.g., pedestal supports)
At this point, you tell the configurator what type of substructure you want.
You have a choice between
– Installation of pedestal supports
– Rail system
– plate bearings and the
– Raised floor system
4. Determine the building heights
In the final step, you define the construction heights at the corner points (in this example: 12cm).
The construction height is the distance between the top edge of the floor and the top edge of the wooden plank.
5. Choose the location and type of your preferred edge finish.
Now choose
a) the location where you want to attach the edge trim and
b) the type of desired edge finish. Note: not all options appear for every height!

5. Save the result as a PDF or add the result to your shopping cart.

Do the edge trims also serve to fix the entire structure?
No, the edge finishing solutions are not intended for the lateral fixing of the entire construction – regardless of the system.
The outermost pedestals are always fixed by screwing (when installed on concrete substrates) or gluing (e.g., to the waterproofing membranes). Our edge solutions primarily serve to ensure a clean and professional edge finish. -
Which systems are suitable for cladding a terrace side with different heights?
The following systems are suitable for compensating for different heights:

I have 3cm thick panels. Which system is suitable for cladding them?
Only the system of upper and lower riser clips is suitable here.
This system is suitable for all our pedestal systems (Professional, Titan, EasyPro). -
Does Ceratrends supply the edge trims in customer-specific lengths?
We're sorry, but this isn't possible. We always supply both the edge trims and the edge profiles in lengths of 2,70m. However, they can easily be cut to size on site using an angle grinder (with an aluminum cutting disc) or possibly a miter saw.

Can your edge systems be combined with pedestal supports from other suppliers?
Possibly, but this depends crucially on the design of the pedestal support – please note that in this case we reject any guarantee or warranty for perfect support.
