Custom-made products for the format 80 x 80cm
It is often the case that special requirements are necessary regarding the edges of terraces and swimming pool surrounds.
We offer you the following custom-made options for the 80 x 80 panel format:
a) Chamfer 3mm top and bottom
A 80mm bevel is ground off the top and bottom of one long side of an 80 x 3 panel at an angle of 45°. This special processing has the following advantages:
prevents the risk of injury when falling on a (sharp) slab edge
reduces the risk of chipping if the slab is accidentally handled improperly
A leg with a total height of 80 cm is glued onto one side of an 80 x 5 cm plate.
Following production processes are carried out: a) a strip of about 6cm is cut from the base slab. This strip is then mitred at 45°. b) the total width of the base slab is thus reduced to approx. 73-74cm c) one side of the (now narrower) base slab is also cut at a 45° mitre. d) Finally, the base slab and the XNUMXcm riser element are permanently bonded together with a special epoxy resin.
The finished riser-slab has a format of 73-74 x 80 x 6cm.
