The overview
- The basic elements consist of two groups:
- The surface plate (A)
- The base module and the support pads (B + C)
- The pedestal supports (D) (fixed or self-leveling)
The surface covering is not discussed here, as it is individual.
The base module and the support pad
The heart of your raised floor. Our basic modules ensure even pressure distribution and a level laying surface for your terrace slabs.
The connection between the base modules is achieved using the patented click system.
- enables optimal load distribution
- forms an absolutely flat surface
The support pads, in turn, define the joint width and support the panels placed on them.

The pedestals
Our adjustable pedestals form the substructure beneath the base module. These allow for precise adjustment of the desired building height. You can choose from two versions:
- pedestal with fixed headAffordable | Leveling with leveling discs
- Self-leveling pedestal supports: Perfect technology | Self-leveling up to +/- 5%
System comparison: Fixed head vs. self-leveling
In conjunction with the SmartWabic raised floor system, the choice of pedestal head has a massive influence on the assembly time and the long-term stability of your terrace.
a) Pedestal support with fixed head
The following height-adjustable pedestals with fixed heads are suitable for the Smart Wabic raised floor system:
b) Self-leveling pedestal supports
Self-leveling pedestals are the ultimate in pedestal technology. These pedestals are distinguished by just four variants, very large adjustment ranges, and high-quality construction.
